The Chinese Zodiac series of works have been a real pleasure to create. All twelve symbols were created against an abstract backdrop reflecting my interpretation of the five natural elements for each. These works took several months to create and represent a considerable effort to balance respect for the culture from which they have come with an artistic interpretation for the elements within.
