“Sunny Face” is another in the Kaleidoscope Garden series of works. As with all the others in this series, this piece began her journey as a simple untouched flower. In this case, a sunflower that was gracious enough to allow me to explore an abstract path of discovery that ultimately brought us to what you see before you. Several hours of gentle nudging and coaxing with just the right amount of snipping and tucking created this beautiful abstract rendition. As you enjoy this work you will notice that Sunny Face is looking back at you in that love-struck way reserved for romantic moments.
