The Thomas Jefferson memorial is one of the most popular monuments in D.C. The steps leading up to the monument serves as bleachers to a number of concerts and is the central point in the annual cherry blossom festival. This shot was taken during one of the rare snow storms we have had over the last few years. As you can see the snow had already begun to melt but the quite calm remained. I was still the only live soul there at the moment this picture was taken.
