“Chocolate Drop” is another of the new additions imagined for my “Creative Amplification” series and as with all my other works in this series it started out as a photograph. In this case it was a shot of some brown fall leaves in a stream. I really had no idea where this piece was going to take me but after a few hours I began to get a sweet tooth and realized that this wonderful chocolate kiss had taken shape. The hardest part of creating an expressionist image from a photograph is knowing when to stop. I think I found that place here and I hope you agree.
