“Shimmering Leaves” was created as another in my “Creative Amplification” series and as with all my other works in this series it started out as a photograph. In this case, a fall tree branch against a blue sky. In looking at the original photograph, I tried to imagine what how it would appear through the eyes of a Native American painter. What you now see before you is that view, at least in my interpretation.
