Hush is one of my favorite pieces in this winter series. It was shot in Washington, DC and was the second image I shot on this day. The rights to my first Image in this series, named "Potomac Snow" was purchased outright by one of my local fans. This shot evokes a quiet calm that only nature can grant us. On first sight, it appears black and white but in fact this is a full color image with a light touch to lower the color saturation that was intended to refine the contrast.
