Winter road is another in my winter series. This shot is another of my favorites shot during my second favorite time of the year for photography. This road is lined by cherry trees and leads to a very pieceful park just outiside Washington, DC. The water to the left is the Potomac river. As with my other winter series, this picture has a feel of black and white, but in fact the image is a full color shot. Though a lighter touch ensured the browns were clearly pronouned in the trees, the primary colors remain muted just as nature intended in an overcast, snowy day.
